Immunization Resources
In the United States, diseases such as Polio and German Measles had become rare and almost non-existent by the early 1970’s, this was largely due to immunizations becoming available for these preventable diseases. Recent events like the Covid-19 pandemic and measle outbreaks have highlighted the importance of immunizations. To avoid the resurgence of these diseases, it is important that members are continuously educated and informed of the importance and benefits of immunizations throughout the lifespan. Think of it this way: You always make sure to buckle your child in their car seat even though you don’t expect to be in an accident.
The Alliance offers the following resources to assist providers in effectively delivering quality care to Alliance members in alignment with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
